NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Applicant, Marathon Oil Company, has filed an application in this cause requesting the Corporation Commission of Oklahoma to enter an order, to be effective as of the date of the execution thereof or as of a date prior thereto, as follows: (i) authorizing and permitting an exception to the general horizontal well requirements under OAC 165:10-3-28, Horizontal drilling, so as to allow the completion interval of the proposed multiunit horizontal well involved herein, being the Jessica Fletcher 0305 1-9-16-21-28SXH Well, to be drilled into and completed in the Goddard common source of supply in the standard 640-acre units to be formed therefor in Sections 9, 16, 21 and 28, Township 3 North, Range 5 West of the IM, Grady County, Oklahoma, to be located closer than 600 feet to the wells described below in the lands covered hereby, and to allow such proposed multiunit horizontal well to produce hydrocarbons from such common source of supply in the 640-acre units formed therefor in said Sections 9, 16, 21 and 28; and (ii) granting such other and further relief as may be proper based upon the evidence presented at the hearing herein. Such application further states that there are currently pending before the Commission applications of Applicant to form standard 640-acre horizontal well units in said Sections 9, 16, 21 and 28. NOTICE IS FURTHER GIVEN that the application in this cause states that the following wells are located in the lands involved herein, each of which may be completed in some portion of the Downthrusted Springer common source of supply: API No. Well Location 35051216060000 HOWELL NO 1 The SE/4 of said Section 16 35051216860000 BATES NO 1 The NE/4 of said Section 21 35051219330000 SLEDGE DEEP NO 2 The NW/4 of said Section 21 Furthermore, such application states that the CKSMOU 21-17-1 Well (formerly known as the Barter No. 1 and Bates No. 2 Well) (API No. 35-051-21946), located in the NE¼ of said Section 21, appears to have been commissioned into the Carter Knox Subthrusted Morrow Operating Unit; however, Commission records suggest that such well is still currently completed in the Britt portion of the Downthrusted Springer common source of supply. Such application further states that each of the Britt and the Goddard are covered by the Downthrusted Springer common source of supply; however, the Britt and Goddard intervals do not overlap. The current operator of such wells appears to be Mack Energy Co., according to Commission records. NOTICE IS FURTHER GIVEN that the application in this cause requests that the order to be entered in this matter be made effective as of the date of the execution thereof or as of a date prior thereto.
